Recently the ICA asked me to design a poster for their annual Free for All event. I was really digging the Charline Von Heyl exhibit currently on their main floor and I was already a fan of the music for the evening, Purling Hiss (I've designed all of Purling Hiss' albums, posters and shirts). I tried to invoke their vibe in the charcoal drawing I made for the poster. I printed 250 of these in the basement of the Killinger Community Center (my house) with two good friends who helped hang them up to dry.Graphic Design, Print Design2011 -
