Identity for Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation and their local food program, Philly Homegrown.
- Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation
Logo & Identity - The Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation (GPTMC) doesn't promote itself. Their job is to promote the City of Philadelphia and try to encourage tourists to come visit, explore and stay awhile. They've never been quite happy with their logo or overall identity and as a result seemed to redesign it every two or three years. After hearing their complaints about past iterations, and learning how they actually use their logo (usually very small, at the bottom of ads and billboards, next to the state of Pennsylvania logo),I felt that they needed a simple stamp-like mark that emphasized their initials instead of their extremely long name.
Also included is the Identity and press kit for GPTMC's local food program, Philly Homegrown.
